Mila’s love for giving and seeing the best in people made me love her character even more. I enjoyed how she grew throughout the book, although she was sweet and was very soft, she challenged the Ronan continuously by standing up for herself. I loved Mila from the beginning, she was so naïve and I felt her every emotion, and at times I cried with her. They may seem vulnerable at first but they stand their ground. I have to say hands down Danielle Lori is becoming one of my favourite authors, I love how she portrays her characters, especially the heroines. I’ve waited so long for this book and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, a Russian winter is the coldest of them all, and Mila soon learns the only way to escape intact is to do the impossible and thaw her captor’s heart. But it doesn’t take long for his caress to become a rough grasp muffling her screams. One with unexplained wealth, tattoos on his hands, and secrets in his eyes. She never expected to fall for a man on the way. Suffocated by the rules and unanswered questions, Mila does what she’s always wanted to. Not about her papa’s absences or his refusal to let her set foot in her birthplace-Russia. Having always done what is expected of her, Mila dresses the part, only dates college boys with exemplary backgrounds, and doesn’t ask questions. She refrained from telling her it would be literally while Mila ran for her life. Ronan is the first Centaur introduced in the Wizarding World franchise, appearing shortly before Bane in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.A fortune teller once told Mila she’d find a man who would take her breath away.Rónán (anglicized Ronan) is an Irish male given name meaning "little seal", Rón meaning "seal", and - án being a diminutive suffix in Irish Gaelic). Below the waist, he had a horse's gleaming chestnut body with a long and reddish tail.

He was described as having red hair, and a red beard. It is likely that he witnessed the final battle between Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter. He led the charge of the centaurs from the Forbidden Forest during the Battle of Hogwarts, breaking through the Death Eater ranks into the Great Hall. He was described as speaking with a doleful tone, and seemed rather peaceful compared to other centaurs.

He was distrustful of humans, although he tried to protect Harry Potter and Hermione Granger from the other centaurs in 1996, pointing out that they were "foals", during the Skirmish in the Forbidden Forest involving Dolores Umbridge. On the night of, Ronan along with fellow centaur Bane met Rubeus Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest, who was investigating that night why unicorns in the forest were being slaughtered, although the two centaurs could not explain why and thus were unable to help him.
